The Mediterranean sea has always provided a fertile ground for the evolution of civilisation as it is today. Without migration, the Mediterranean would not be what it is now: a rich amalgam of people with an array of cultural backgrounds and heritages.
Set around Antoine Cassar’s poem, the POW Ensemble has made a musical show about migration, the Mediterranean sea and the current refugee crises.
The project is organised in collaboration with UNHCR and will premiere on World Refugee Day, 20 June 2018.
With financial support from Valletta2018.
